Members of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, Owerri Zone, have been charged to allay their fears as no power under the Heavens can manipulate or negatively affect them. The assurance was given recently at the vestry of the Holy Father, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, during a Thank-you-Father visit organised by the Zone. The Holy Father, who asked them to be pertinacious in their belief in Him, also said that a double-minded man can never receive anything good from God.

“There’s nothing more to say than for you to cast your trust on the Father. This is not the time to jump from one place to another but to stand firm in Him. Know that no force can prosper in you as long as you do his bidding”, the Holy Father asserted.

The Holy Father also called on the pioneers to ensure good morals at all times, for it is more rewarding for the younger generation to take after Godly peace rather than pursue activities that are not in tandem with his mission on earth.

Thriving on a solid blueprint on welfare, Christ Ambassador Victor Njoku, the Zonal Administrator, stated that the welfare of posted priests is accorded premium attention. He said the workers are paid up to date in addition to the support from Fellowships like women’s, Choristers’ as well as individuals. He added that the relationship between members and the Priest is convivial.

To promote the ideals of the BCS, he revealed that the Zone has upped its efforts by visiting Imo State motherless babies’ homes and organising an Open Kitchen for the less privileged. He added that mass participation was recorded during the Ordained One’s visit to Imo State Correctional Centre, which resulted in the conversion and eventual baptism of about a hundred new members. He pleaded with the Father for grace to do more.

In an effort to enhance a quick and effective delivery of secretarial duties in their various domains under the Zone,  CA Njoku revealed that the Zone is embarking on a project to establish a Standard Information Communication Technology Centre(ICT) and added that appropriate steps are being taken to ensure its actualisation. Stating its achievements during the period under review, he listed the purchase of a generator at Amakohia Pentecostal Centre, the replacement of bathroom doors, and the upgrading of kitchen equipment and utensils by the Women and General Fellowships respectively.

Soliciting the Holy Father for an improvement in their finances, the Zonal Admin noted that the mobilisation of funds for activities was challenging, occasioned by high unemployment amongst them and low turn out of members, which has become a bane in the progress of Zone. He expressed the belief that their visit to the Heavenly Monarch would manifest a positive outcome.

Thank You, Father.
