Members of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, Duburo Bethel, have been told to have faith in the First Begotten Son of Righteousness, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu. In His address to the Bethel, during a Thank-You-Father Visit paid to him at the Holy Vestry, The Leader of the BCS, who commended them for their resilience towards Kingdom duties, told them that complete trust in Him was the gateway to their salvation.
“No man can serve two masters in life, you must take a firm decision on your path and hold unto it. The only way to Your salvation is your belief in The Father. I tell you, put your trust in Him and He will never fail you”.
The Holy Father also said, God never lies nor cheats His children and rewards His Faithful children accordingly. He called on them to continue to raise the flag of the Kingdom high because, unknown to them, many are looking up to them.
Giving a brief history while presenting the report of his stewardship, Brother Donald Daanwi, the Bethel Administrator, said Duburo Bethel was founded by the Holy Father on the 20th of January, 1972 through Evangelist Bukueh Sorwii, Micah Yaateh, and Silas Yorwuru of Bere Bethel in Ken-Khana Zone. A permanent structure had since been erected over a decade ago to the Glory of the Father.
According to Brother Donald, the visit of the Olumba Special Squad in 2018 led to the appointment of BM Ledum Zite to act in the capacity of the Bethel Priest pending when a substantive one will be posted to them.
To promote the tidings of the BCS, Donald related that the Bethel organised an Open Air Service at the Community Central Town Square, where the Glory of the Father was showcased. He added that during the period under review, thirteen baptisms were recorded.
The Bethel, with a numerical strength of about seventy people, remits its tithe as at when due. He also said that the welfare of members remains a priority as members with challenges are visited, and their needs are met accordingly.
Reporting on projects, the Bethel Administrator said the Bethel is assiduously preparing towards embarking on Bethel extension and the construction of the Priest’s quarters.
The brethren were in a joyous mood as they departed the Holy Sanctuary.
Thank You, Father.
