Elated over the massive success recorded in the choral arm both at the state and international levels, the executives and members of the Christ Natural Choristers’ Fellowship (CNCF), Rivers State, have unanimously joined their voices in praise of the Heavenly Father, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu whom they described as the inspiration behind their numerous achievements.
Chairman of the body, Senior Christ Servant Precious Effiong, who led the Fellowship to pay homage to the Holy Father expressed gratitude to God for the many successes the Fellowship has recorded in recent times.
Speaking recently in the Holy Vestry, the Chairman said The King of kings and the Lord of lords gave the Rivers State Central Mass Choir the grace to be outstanding during the Heavenly Father Event singing competition where the choir represented the Throne of Praise and came out tops.
Reporting also on administrative issues, Brother Precious gave a summary of some of the activities of the choir outlining major welfare and empowerment schemes carried out by the administration which included soft and micro loans, skills acquisition and financial grants which he said have helped members to start up small and medium scale enterprises.
Pleased with their achievement, The Holy Father in response, admonished them to continue in dedication and humility, assuring them that His blessings shall never elude them.
It would be recalled that in recent times, the Rivers State Central Choir and her members have won several laurels including champions in all International BCS Choral activities held at the World Headquarters in the year 2019. They also won the laurel for the Best Conductor of the year 2019 and one of their members, Christ Ambassador Abel John, was appointed as the BCS Choirmaster General.
Thank You Father.
