The Leadership of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star in Mkpani Zonal Area of Yakurr Local Government Area in the Cross Rivers State of Nigeria has supplicated to the Heavenly Father, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, for Spiritual and Physical empowerment in their lives.
This appeal was made by the Zonal Administrator, Bishop-Elect Hyacinth Ofem Ubi, when he led other members of the zone to pay a visit of gratitude to the Holy Father, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, recently, at His Holy Sanctuary at the BCS World Headquarters at 34 Ambo Street, Calabar in Cross River State.
In his supplication, the Zonal Administrator, who lamented the marginalization of the Mkpani brethren in the scheme of activities such as employment, etc. prayed for the Father to intervene on their behalf as the rate of unemployment among her members is quite high and has affected contributions to the activities in the zone.
Bishop-Elect Ubi expressed optimism that the visit to the Supreme Being will turn their stories around encouraging the Brethren never to lose hope as the one whom they have come to visit holds the key to their salvation.
Also, the Administrator, who gave a summary of the achievements and activities, reported that the zone has been active in the areas of evangelism, welfare to her members and Priest and of course charity work to the inhabitants of the area.
Ubi thanked the Father for the massive promotion of her members into different Priest cadre in the fold during their recent visit even as he prayed for the grace to endure in their new obligations.
Other members of the zone who spoke during the visit relayed thanks to the Father for the sufficient protection especially during the communal crisis that ravaged the area where several souls were lost but no BCS member was a victim.
In His response, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu assured them to remain steadfast in their service to God urging them to always live in unity and peace with one another for in so doing, their problems will be a thing of the past.
Also present during the visit were some members of the Traditional Rulers’ Council who had also come to pay homage to the Supreme Deity, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu.
Thank You Good Father.
