The Leader of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu has asked all those still weltering in violence to desist from such acts or risk being swept away by the  Covid-19  global pandemic.

The King of kings and Lord of lords recently gave this ground-shaking warning while reacting to reports of communal crisis between the people of Ukelle South community of Cross River State and the Izzi community of Ebonyi State over boundary disputes.

Addressing the people of Southern Ukelle Community of Yala Local Government Area, represented by BCS brethren from the community, during a visit to Him at the BCS World Headquarters, 34 Ambo Street, Calabar, the Supreme Father, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu warned both communities to refrain from engaging in communal brawls that threaten the peace of God’s children and pursue sustainable development in the area.

Speaking in His Holy Vestry, the Holy Father said inhibitors of peace, as well as sponsors and actors of violence, shall be swept away by the Covid-19 pandemic. He said: “Go and tell them that they have to embrace peace now, otherwise they will suffer from Coronavirus.”

In addition, the Giver of Eternal Peace, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu noted that peace is the only antidote to the virus currently plaguing the world and that anyone who wishes to survive the scourge of coronavirus must turn away from violence and embrace peace.

Earlier in his report, Brother Dominic who led members of BCS Southern Ukelle community on a Thank-You-Father visit to the God of Heavens, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, lamented the manifold attacks people of both communities have suffered as a result of frequent communal wars.

He said the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star members, having remembered the efficacy of the Holy Father’s declarations on other aspects in the community’s existence, found it necessary to present their plea before the King of kings who they described as the ‘Last Bus stop’.

Brother Dominic further acknowledged that their visit to the Holy Father in the year 2008, brought an end to the diversion of funds by contractors handling the Ogoja-Abakaliki Road, adding that the road has now been completed following Holy Father’s pronouncement against further sharp practices.

Dominic also relived a similar story involving Wanihem and Wakade communities of the area during which the Holy Father’s pronouncement of peace for both communities came to pass.  Recounting, Dominic stated; “Brethren from Wanihem community visited Him after a fatal tribal war between her and a sister community, Wakade and The Father, through His mercy, pronounced peace among the two communities. After their departure, a feast was celebrated as directed by The Holy Father which saw to the baptism of 79 people and till today they enjoy relative peace.”

“Our Heavenly Father, we know that This Holy Sanctuary is the last Bus stop to all our problems and You are the only solution to these problems. Therefore, having beheld your Holy face, we are assured that today marks the end of these problems”, Dominic Supplicated  he concluded.

Thank You Good Father!!!
