Grateful for the colossal downpour of bliss and prosperity experienced over time, the 34 Ambo Zonal women Fellowship led by her President, Blessed Mother Theresa Ukpong, paid the creator of Heaven and Earth, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, a visit of appreciation in his Vestry at the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star World Headquarters.
Opening her speech with melodious songs, the President testified that the support she enjoys from the women cannot be overemphasized. Their response to meetings or any form of gathering to steer the fellowship to enviable heights is treated with the highest form of seriousness and was quite encouraging, she stated further.
The welfare of her members, she reported, has been at the forefront of their agenda and for the ease of administration and swift response to matters, sisters were shared into eight groups. “We have emphasised practically on extending humanitarian supports to our needy sisters. Those who desired financial assistance for accommodation, feeding, medical issues, and trading were reached and assisted within the Fellowship’s capacity” she revealed.
On evangelism, she further informed that in line with the Holy Father’s directive, the Fellowship had baptized ten new converts during the period under review.
Other activities carried out within the period include Ministry work, sanitation of the Great Hall at the world headquarters and the construction of a Lectern for Ikot Oyoh Bethel in Akpabuyo LGA.
PRESIDENT AMBO ZONAL WOMEN FELLOWSHIP
Blessed Mother Theresa Ukpong expressed profound gratitude to the Holy Father on behalf of the women in the Zone for the manifestation of the His earlier pronouncement to them on marriages. She attested to the fact that several sisters had been joined in Holy matrimony as a result of His pronouncement.
In his response, the Holy Father assured the women of His resolute protection and unshakable love even as He reminded that of their God-given roles as women. The Supreme God reiterated that as mothers, they were created by God as helpmates to their husbands and to care for their households. He expressed His regret that the love for material things has torn many homes apart. He warned them not to be swayed by the current evil trend ravaging the world, but to lead by example as women of God.
